K. Nikki Gardner

K. Nikki Gardner was born in 1976 in Spanish Harlem and started writing short stories at the age of four.

Gardner's first novel, A Lesson Not Forgotten, evolved from a diary written during an abusive relationship. Gardner has written four other novels, exploring themes like love not always ending happily ever after and your vices can destroy you. Her first self-published novel is Between a Rock and a Hard Place.

K. Nikki lives in Harlem. She graduated from Hunter College in NYC with a BA degree in English. She's also a disc jockey and model.
